Vintage Classic SCHMECKENBECHER Musical 1 Day Cuckoo Clock #165 in White
This 1978 super rare model was simply use for a while then put back in a box and remains forgotten. There was no Dust or smoke smell and absolutely nothing was broken or fixed. We believe that the reason was that the Plastic Governor wheel cracked so it was not going to play music. We therefore reset the music box to accept the newer Governor and installed a new one and also a new set of Chains & Weights. We also applied wood glue internally on the housing so it will keep strong for another 40 odd years. The Bellows is in good conditions we simply reinforced the back ends. Music box plays a unknown melody at the top of every hours after the coo-coo sound as the dancers goes around. This model has the Larger size dancers. The clock was test-run for 4 days before packaging. 12 inches high by 9 inches across and about 6 inches deep. Comes with a Numerical Certificate and with easy pictured set-up instructions. We do not use AI on our clock descriptions, What you read is clear and true, no exaggeration required. Also we will try to take a picture of the inside as the clock is been restored (if I remember lol). Clock arrived in perfect condition, and was packaged very securely.
