Super Rare Ax & Saw 1 Day Musical Cuckoo Clock by Albert Schwab #1
A 1981 model in excellent running conditions. We installed a new set of chains and pendulum. All metal parts especially the Regula #25 movement and music box was sonically cleaned and oiled and is Bright and Tight. We replaced the cracked Time wheel and the racket wheel with a NOS. Also the music box pinion shaft cracked plastic wheel with a metal one. The housing was re-enforced internally with wood glue and a damaged back roof corner was repaired plus a little painting can you tell wish one? The 2 Pine trees in the front are not glued in place, you may use school glue if you want. Music box plays 2 different melodies one each time at the top of the hour after the coo-coo calls as the dancers goes around and the Ax & Saw man moves as cutting the wood. 15 inches tall by 11 inches across and about 7 inches deep. Comes with easy set-up instructions, our numerical certificate and a 3 paged article about Cuckoo clocks origin.
